Winkleigh Control Tower sits on an abandoned airfield in Mid Devon. On one summer’s day myself and 4 ex-students packed up a car of equipment and materials and set out to transform the space into a giant camera. We made portraits of the group posing outside and then built a second camera pointing into the space constructing still lives from the detritus we found lying around. At the end of the day we hung up the prints and had our own mini exhibition before packing it all down and heading home! The day was captured by Exploredinary (a film making duo from Texas) as part of an Ilford Photo documentary about my work. You can watch the full film here.
